Windows Vista Embedded is a version of Windows Vista which can be embedded into many devices, hence the name, and is the successor of Windows XP Embedded. It is available for download at the Microsoft website. It was rumored to release 2 week after Windows Vista Client. On February 14 2007. This version is rumored to have the same features as Windows Vista Client. It is just optimized for ATM's and Embedded Systems. These systems must upgrade or clean install, Windows NT 4.0 Embedded has to be clean installed, where as Windows XP Embedded can be auto upgraded. This version was made to keep the people who owns XP and NT4 Embedded, to upgrade to the brand new operating system, the SP1 of this OS is planned for April 22,2008 or that is just the expected date, Windows 7 Embedded is being planned to be the successor to this OS, which is planned for 2013, Windows Vista Embedded, does not include Aero, Remote Desktop Connection, Windows Media Center, nor Player, and the kernel of Windows Vista Embedded, is the same kernel as Windows Seven Milestone 1, and it doesnt include ANY themes, except Windows Classic, this version is exclusive to OEM's
