Neologism?

Other than the paper already cited in the article, I was unable to find very much information about the architecture in a quick search. Are there any other sources which might corroborate the term's acceptance among roboticists? « D. Trebbien (talk) 22:47 2008 April 6 (UTC)

I'm actually a bit confused myself - the description I wrote here is very similar to that of the SSS architecture[1], but the term used in this paper is clearly "three-layer architecture". I think this is more of a general class of robot architectures, but the actual realization is achieved via SSS. In any case, I think the architecture deserves to have its own page (instead of an addon to SSS). Just look at how many times the Gat paper has been cited.
