A replica of the Modulo, in black, appeared in the 1980's film, Black Moon Rising as the titular Black Moon vehicle at the centre of the plot. The vehicle is explicitly of Italian i.e. Ferrari origin, as a character in a line of dialog discusses the vehicles return to Italy upon its recovery.
