Windows Longhorn Server, possibly renamed as Windows Server 2007 is Microsoft's next version of its Windows operating system for servers and is designed to replace Windows Server 2003 and Windows 2000. It is known that Microsoft intends to keep the year based naming scheme of its server products and the release of Longhorn server was announced momentarily for 2007. Longhorn server is expected to have the features of Windows Vista.
