Probability ensemble

The term probability ensemble is used in cryptography to denote a family of distributions $\{X_{n}\}$. Often $n\in \mathbb {N}$ is a security parameter and the goal of the formalization is to show that the distribution fulfills a certain property for sufficiently large $n$.
