Talk:Exploratory testing
I will extend this article under the more correct term Exploratory testing, and then redirect to that page. Epim 18:47, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
The two introductory sentences on this Wiki page appear to attempt to define Exploratory Testing. The 2nd sentence reads: "While the software is being tested, the tester learns things that together with experience and creativity generates new good tests to run." There are a couple of problems with this:
1. "generates new good tests to run" fails to define or qualify "good". What does good mean here? If it means "likely to find bugs" then how do we know it is likely to find bugs? 2. It is grammatically incorrect: "...the tester learns things that ... generates...". It should be "generate" (learns things that generate).Josheisenberg (talk) 05:45, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
