Web design is the design or designing of a web page or web site.

Although one person can design a whole web site, the design of large commercial sites is often broken down into:

After the deliverable has been produced, a web site can still undergo design changes resulting from functional, usability and accessibility tests.

Some web sites are being redesigned frequently to give visitors an incentive to return to the site.
