Specific Approach

I would consider SOMF to be one specific approach to Service Oriented Modeling, much like Zachmann and TOGAF are approaches to Enterprise Architecture. I would certainly expect to see SOMF as a child linked to SOM, but not included in the general definition of SOM. Lloydmangnall (talk) 19:29, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that SOMF is a specific approach to SOM, but that doesn't resolve the question whether and how it appears in Wikipedia. I think it is a question of notability - SOMF may be notable (=interesting) enough to be mentioned in an article on SOM (along with alternative approaches), but not notable (=established) enough for a whole article on SOMF. --RichardVeryard (talk) 13:20, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
