Arthur Daniel Button (26 May 1916 - 27 May 1991) was an Air Vice-Marshal of the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom.

CB 1976; OBE 1959; CEng;Director of Royal Air Force Education Branch, 1972-76; born 26 May 1916; only son of late Leonard Daniel Button and of Agnes Ann (née Derbyshire); married 1944, Eira Guelph Waterhouse, only daughter of late Reginald Waterhouse Jones; (one son decd). Education: County High Sch., Ilford; University Coll., Southampton (BSc Hons (Lond.)). Work: Joined RAF Educnl Service, 1938; Gen. Duties Br., RAF, 1941-46 (Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service in the Air, 1946); returned to RAF Educn Br., 1946. Dir, ARELS Examinations Trust, 1976-86. Member Council: RAF Benevolent Fund, 1980-89; RAF Assoc., 1980-89; Lord Kitchener Nat. Meml Fund, 1983-. Hon. Pres., ARELS-FELCO, 1990-. Governor, Duke of Kent School, 1981-86.
