This page is intended to help people who are offering to help with the 2008 Wikipedia CD Selection.

Broadly we are after three types of assistance:

(1) Article checking. Starting with a list of topics finding a historical version from the article history which is free from vandalism, has few if any maintenance tags, has appropriately sized images and could be used as a source. Listing any sections or paragraphs which are not suitable for children (these will be checked by someone else so if in doubt, list).

(2) Article choosing. Starting either with a Wikipedia list (such as "Good Articles" etc) or with a curriculum topic finding suitable articles for inclusion

(3) Article classifying. Starting with a historical version of an article classify it according to curriculum topic. Multiple listing is allowed. Mis-listing to suit common misconceptions (is Georgia in the EU?) is also allowed.
