The Gamecube controller is used for a Nintendo Gamecube. You hold it with two hands. Your right thumb is usually on the "A" button. Your left thumb is usually on the primary analog stick. It has the buttons, "A", "B", "X", "Y", "L", "R", and "Z". The "A" button is a big green button. It usually is used to advance in games. The "B" button is a small red button. It is usually used to go back in games. The "X" and "Y" buttons are used for many different things in games. The "L" and "R" buttons are pressure sensitive. The "Z" button is on top of the controller, and it's purple. The "Z" button isn't used very much. There are two analog sticks. One is the primary analog stick. It is a big, grey analog stick. You usually use it to move a character on the screen. The other one is the C stick. It is smaller than the primary analog stick, and it's yellow. It is usually used to change the view of a game. There is also a track pad. It isn't used much at all.

The original Gamecube controllers were black and purple, but now they have platinum and other colors. Off brand controllers come in clear. They also have wireless Gamecube controllers.Blackslime (talk) 05:00, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
