The college was founded by Thiru R.S.Kothandaraman, the noted educationist and philanthropist in 1984. The college is sponsored by Sri Renga Latchumi Educational Trust, Chennai.

The campus is about 10 km away from Dindigul, a calm and peaceful town in the heart of Tamilnadu. It is situated along the Dindigul-Palani National Highway. The campus has an area of about 422,800 square metres, in a serene and congenial atmosphere ideally suited for instructional studies. It is an absolutely self-contained campus comprising of everything the student community would require.

Now, this esteemed institution is functioning under the guidance of Mrs. K. Dhanalakshmi and under the dynamic leadership of the Directors and professionally managed by the Principal

Central Library Details

The Central Library of PSNA provides resource support in all areas of engineering and management, teaching, learning and research. Material includes about 49,000 books (for varying periods of loan) and around 284 hardcopies of national and international journals and hundreds of journals in electronic text. The Audio Visual has around 3000 CDs /Videos. Online Journals 410.

The library catalogue is fully networked, enabling you to check details, make reservations or renew existing loans at any time. Reprographic and OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) facilities are available. The library is open from 8.00 am to 8.30 pm on all working days.

Apart from the Central Library, every respective department has its own library for the benefit of their faculty.
