Redwolf24 is an excellent user; polite, helpful, and most of all, welcoming. If any user manages to be here more than ten minutes and not be welcomed by Red, then they should apply to the CIA for covert work, because Red is an expert newbie-hunter. Beyond that, he has hundreds of quality articlespace edits, many to articles on bands and albums. He's been a frequent target of trolls and vandals, and has conducted himself remarkably in the face of it all. He's bold when he knows what he's doing, and he asks when he's unsure. He has expressed a desire to be even more active with Wikipeida; Admin tools would only help his efforts. He's an all-around great Wikipedian, a source of light in the sometimes dark Wiki, and a good friend to all; support should be "no big deal" for this user. -- Essjay · Talk 01:18, July 16, 2005 (UTC)

I would be honored to accept this nomination. Check my talk page to see how I've been handling myself. Also, please don't shout down Boothy443 when she votes oppose ;) Redwolf24 01:35, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose

Neutral

  1. Neutral. With only three months contributing, I am not exactly sure if you have enough experience on Wikipedia to be an administrator. Denelson83 04:29, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Questions for the candidate
A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:

1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? (Please read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.)
A. I would watch over RfC which seems to take a while in responding... I would open my talk page to reporting personal attacks, etc. I won't start the big stuff (VfD, etc.) until I'm a fully learned admin. Redwolf24 01:40, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
A. I am probably most proud of being a VERY ACTIVE member in the welcoming committee and Kindness campeign. As for main articles, I've worked a lot on Band and Music articles, fixing typos, unorphaning articles, history articles... etc. Redwolf24 01:40, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A. Well User:Iamzodyourzodeveryzod caused me the most consternation here. (Note: Iamzod has apologized now so I'm neutral to him. Actually impressed by his apology.) Before him I had such trolls as User:Redwolf24isgay. I think I handeled myself well. Anyways I would like users to report personal attacks at my talk page and I'll look at the user in question (as well as the reporting user to make sure they weren't provoked) and do what has to be done.
