"The genetic code is the piano, the epigenetic code the tune." I dislike this usage. The Genetic code and the epigenetic code seem mutually entwined fairly strongly. A tune can be played on something other than the piano (or can be plaed on different pianos) - it can even be hummed. The epigenetic code for a genome would have to be (in total) fairly strongly tied to it. 69.243.168.118 (talk) 07:09, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
