GNU Classpath is now a GNU Project to create free version of core Java libraries. Because Java libraries are huge - it is not an easy task.

GNU Classpath is used by many Java Virtual Machine projects ex. SableVM.

GNU Classpath is licensed under GPL with Linking Exception.
