Lustre is a synchronous declarative programming language, for programming reactive systems. It began as a research project, and is now commercial grade, being the core language of the industrial environment SCADE, developed by Esterel-Technologies, and used by:

  • Airbus, for on-board software of A340/600, A380.
  • Schneider-Electric, for nuclear power plant control software.
