The xbox game console by microsoft contains a 700 MHz modified celeron processor 64 mb ram and a modified nvidia geforce 2. due to the similarity with a standard x86 pc it is possible to run linux on the xbox.

To run linux on your xbox requires a modchip to be installed that allows the xbox to run unsigned code. unfortunatly modchips are also used to run pirated games and can be hard t o find and may be illegal in many areas. the xboxlinux project can be found at [1]xbox linux home
