Recurrent thalamo-cortical resonance
Appearance
Recurrent thalamo-cortical resonance is a dynamic condition that results in the generation of cognitive function. This function with is intrinsic and occurs continuously during the lifespan of animals is continuously modulated by sensory input, allowing the brain to a) image the external world from a sensory perspective, b) activate motor behavior in the context of such input and c) modify sensory input (induction) into internal personal images (deduction) that allow the generation of ideas and intentions. This resonance can become entrained as an attractor at low frequency and generate a pathological state known as thalamo-cortical dysrhythmia
