I've just split this out from the DAB article. I know the article lead is crap, so please feel free to improve it! Oli Filth(talk) 12:48, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Western Canadian implementation

Several years ago, DAB was being marketed in Vancouver. The radio ads were terrible: Gilbert Gottfried (or somebody who sounded like him) was getting messages from God to buy a DAB receiver from Radio Shack. I was curious, so I went to Radio Shack, and found that the coverage in Greater Vancouver did not extend to my home, so I gave it a miss. It has been a long time since I have heard anything about DAB, so I don't even know if the broadcasts are even on the air.
