Same Difference (singing duo)

Same Difference are a British pop group that are very well known for getting to the X Factor final and finishing 3rd. Other their time on the X Factor their popularity grew with each week. They came in for criticism form judge Louis Walsh. However judges Sharon Osbourne, Dannii Minogue, and Simon Cowell all disagreed with him, praising Same Difference for their fun and entertaining performances.

The X Factor

At their first audition ,mentor to be, Simon Cowell said they might have been "the most annoying people he'd ever met," but by the time of the judges homes round he grew to like them so much he said that "they were the act I decided to put in my top 3, straight away, there happy, fun, entertaining, and I think people really are going to like them."

Thry carried on to progress through the live shows beating some of the bookies favourites, Andy Williams and Daniel DeBourg including Cowell's over 2 hand picked groups Futureproof and Hope. By the time of the NTA awards Simon Cowell stated they were the act he felt most deserved to win.

They managed to work their way to the final 3 narrowly missing out on the top 2 by only a few votes. Cowell is report4ed to have offered them a record deal despite their not winning as he felt they are "what the British charts are looking for." Creative Director Brian Friedman said on the Xtra Factor after show, "Same Difference should have won, they were the hardest workers, they were the only one's I could really give good choreography to and they could pick it up straight away."
