The purpose of this article is to create an introductory fork of virus. While I appreciate the author's intention of making the subject more accessible, it's not Wikipedia practice to fork off articles in this manner. However, I wanted to start an AfD on the article rather than re-deleting it in order to invite community input and suggestions on how this material can be integrated elsewhere -- like I said, I appreciate the desire to make articles more readable.
