Microsoft RoundTable is a 360 degree video camera, which is designed to work with Microsoft Office Live Meeting. Microsoft Office Live Meeting application will automatically switch the active speaker video to the speaking participant. This auto-switch feature will work not only Microsoft Office Live Meeting product, it will also work as normal USB-based camera and used in chatting applications. The main application of Roundtable is as a conferencing camera with 360 degree panoramic view, which is ideal for conference rooms with several participants. With specially designed set of microphones and cameras lenses Roundtable will be able to determine the locate of the active speaker and then focus the camera view to that specific area.
