Jump threading. [Excuse me, but the preceeding is not a sentence, and does not attempt to follow the highlighting convention.] This pass detects a condition jump that branches to an identical or inverse test. [Is this about computer software? If so, it should say so. Or is it about basketball? I cannot tell.] Such jumps can be `threaded' through the second conditional test.
