I find this mildly misleading:

The incoming packets are compared for quality, and the best one is selected. This enables CDMA to perform in areas where TDMA calls would be dropped.
  1. the "packets" (frames??) are not compared, they are added through a rake reciever.
  2. whilst there are certainly times when CDMA has better coverage, and, also times when TDMA does better it's so complex to discuss that the second sentence is of its self misleading. Better to have a separate radio interface performance comparison for each technology.
  3. it's probably better to talk about the benefits of CDMA on the CDMA page.
