Windows Essential Business Server 2008

Microsoft Essential Business Server (codenamed Centro) is Microsoft's offering of a server bundle for businesses with 25 to 250 PCs.[1] Built off Windows Server 2008 codebase, it is available in two versions: Standard and Premium. The Standard bundle adds Microsoft Exchange communications server product. The Premium bundle includes the features of the Standard edition and adds the Microsoft SQL Server database software.[1]
Essential Business Server features a single administration and management console, via which the server can be configured. Third party software can also utilize the same console to present their administration interface. Symantec will use the management console for its Backup Exec and Endpoint Protection products.[1]
