Enthusiast System Architecture (ESA) is a open standard that is royalty-free. Announced in 2007. The standard defines a protocol for two-way communication of PC components. It is used for monitoring temperature of computer hardware components.

ESA is built around the current USB human interface device class specification.

The latest release of the ESA specification is version 1.0. ESA was created by Nvidia and some other companies.
