Who is pluggo?

I'm a geek/artist, 20 years old (almost 21, woo hoo!). I live in Illinois, have a cat (Ryo Ohki, better known as Stinky Kitty), and am currently starting a business.

I can code in most popular languages; C, C++ (though I despise it), Python, TCL/Tk, Perl (a little), several types of assembler, PHP, several flavors of [SQL]], shell scripting, HTML, JavaScript, Pascal (Turbo Pascal, Delphi, and Kylix). Slackware and Debian Linux are currently my favorite distributions. I read Slashdot and NewsForge daily, and Usenet at least a few times a week.

I like art, too; oils, both pastels and paints, are my favorite medium, though I enjoy playing with everything. Perhaps some day I'll take some pictures of my art & post 'em here, if I ever get a digital camera.

Oh yeah, and I write. Never usually publish anything, but I write; usually poetry sprinkled throughout overly-descriptive prose.

I think the idea of a Wiki is great. It's very much like how ideas are stored in peoples' heads, and how they learn as well. The hypertext format and open editing are key in creating an awesome information archive. I think Wikis could serve as a sort of self-evolving documentation form for open-source software, or really anything for that matter. If a WYSIWYG editor were integrated, it would let a lot more people contribute; actually, I think I'll go add a feature request. After all, Yahoo! Mail does it...
