Micromeritics -micrometrics? Synonyms? Differences?

"The broad field of micromeritics is very important to the characterization of solid-state materials. Micromeritics is a collective term for the various techniques, methods, and fields of study used to characterize the surface of a solid. " - that is a different definition, although the scale is the same. i.e. micromeritics is the the study of things at the micrometer scale including the study of the surface of larger objects. Note the title of the page is 'micrometrics'.Nick Connolly 20:14, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
