Cursive script

Cursive script may refer to any penned or brushworked writing were there is an attempt to give the letters or characters the appearence of being joined. The best know Western elaborations begin with the Italic Cursiva and evolved to the English Copperplate systems. The former along with Germany introducing ligatures joins and flurshes, and the latter stricking. See Dover Press--MicPowell 01:59, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
