In software engineering, Spring, Axis, Struts, and Hibernate are four popular open_source Java projects [1],[2],[3], often known as and distributed under the acronym "SASH". These projects are used to build Web_applications by developers and companies using the Java language.

These projects are used in an increasing number of large applications at Global 2000 companies, as well as by individual developers and smaller websites and companies. [4]
