Talk:Aspect (computer programming)

Aspect-orientation is not limited to programming since it is useful to identify, analyse, trace and modularise concerns (e.g., PREview) through requirements elicitation, specification and design. Aspects can be multi-dimensional by allowing both functional and non-functional behaviour to cross cut any other concerns, instead of just mapping non-functional concerns to functional requirements.
What is PREview? Citing examples is useless if no futher information is given.

It seems to me that deleting categories without discussion is not in compliance with Wikipedia Policy.

- Well, I don't think Wikipedia Policy forbids this (or any other edit). For the reason of category removal, please see [1]: "This category requires frequent maintenance to avoid becoming too large It should list very few (if any) article pages directly, and should mainly contain sub-categories. Articles in this category should be moved to subcategories where appropriate." The category "Aspect-oriented programming" is already a subcategory of "Software Engineering"...
