ASAP The Advanced Systems Analysis Program (ASAP) has been the industry standard in optical engineering software for over 20 years. ASAP is constructed in Fortran similar to many programs in the fields of computational fluid dynamics (CFD), computational physics, financial computing, and computational chemistry. It separates itself from other ray tracing programs in its devotion to simulating optical systems accurately for Optical Designers over producing realistic pictures or animation for Mechanical Designers. ASAP predicts the real-world performance of automotive lighting, bio-optic systems, coherent systems, displays, imaging systems, lightpipes, luminaires, and medical devices.
