MIT's SIPB (pronounced ``Sip-bee) is the Student Information Processing Board, a volunteer student group concerned with computing at MIT.

SIPB members are encouraged to contribute to computing at MIT or in general, and as a result, various SIPB members have reached fame and/or notoriety for their actions and contributions. For example, LAMP and qrpff are both projects of SIPB member Keith Winstein, that have SIPB endorsement.

In addition, SIPB involvement was critical in the reverse-engineering of the Morris Worm.
