FrameNet
Appearance
FrameNet is a project at Berkeley which produces a electronic ressource describing frames. A frame can be thought of as a concept with a script, and with the participants. It is used to describe an object, state or event. The FrameNet lexical database contains around 9000 lexical units (a pairing of a word with a meaning; polysemous words are represented by several lexical units), 625 semantic frames and over 100'000 example sentences.
