Clap Your Hands Say Yeah is an independent rock band from New York City. Their eponymously-titled debut LP, self-released in 2005, received relatively little attention until Pitchfork Media broke the band with a very favorable review and a "Best New Music" commendation. The ensuing demand for Clap Your Hands Say Yeah forced the band to repress the CD, as the initial production run was too small.
