Netscape Application Server

Netscape Application Server was an integrated software platform developed originally by Kivasoft (which was later acquired by Netscape and later bought by AOL). The application server software was the basis for the iPlanet Application Server offering, beating out the competing Sun's NetDynamics Application Server.
