Electric Utilities use Network Protectors in the low voltage end of their Electricity distribution systems to protect the power lines.

A Network Protector includes in one enclosure all the elements necessary to detect abnormal conditions on the power line and to shut it down if required. They can work on both Spot Networks and Grid Networks.

Typically, Network Protector are placed in underground vaults so they are built inside a submersible enclosure.
