Design And Technology is a subject which can be take at all levels of education. It is sometimes refered to in the scottish examenation system as Craft and Design.

At GCSE the course which is spread over two years requires you to produce one piece of coursework. This coursework must consist of a product which you have manufactured in the workshop and a written piece about your product.
