NVIDIA nTune 5 is a utility for accessing, monitoring, and adjusting system components, including temperature and voltages with user-friendly control panels within Windows, rather than through the BIOS.

Additionally, nTune has a feature that automatically adjusts settings and tests them to find what it believes to be the optimal combination of settings for a particular computer hardware configuration. Everything including the GPU, CPU, MCP, RAM, Voltage and Fans are adjusted, though not all motherboards supported by nTune support all of these adjustment options. During the nForce 4 briefing, nVIDIA stated that there were no limitations in place with regards to settings - nTune should push the hardware as far as it will go while going through "thousands of possible configurations"[This quote needs a citation].

Configurations can also be saved. This allows the end user to toggle between a performance gaming profiles, quiet profiles for desktop work or some other profile that is usage specific.

nTune is also a front end for the BIOS: most settings that can be changed in the BIOS are exposed in nTune. BIOS flashes can be done through nTune also.
