Convergent Linux Platform
Convergent Linux Platform or CLP for short is an initiative of a la Mobile, inc. to present to the market a Linux-embedded mobile phone with raised security issues.

- Embedded Linux 2.6 Kernel with real-time and power management modifications.
- Hardware Mobility Engine with low-level device driver functionality abstracted from phone hardware
- Network Mobility Engine
- FOTA (firmware over the air) update module with digital signature checking (from Red Bend)
- Encrypted file system
- Mobile radio integration
- Trolltech Graphics Subsystem (QTopia application framework and user interface).
- Java ME support
- Adobe Flash support
- Obigo applications (Web 2.0 browser, messenger, and multimedia framework)
- PhoneTop and phone dialer
- platform configuration tools
- GSM/GPRS support (from HelloSoft)
