Epigrams In Programming was the title of an article written by Alan Perlis in 1982, for ACM's SIGPLAN journal. They are a series of short, programming language neutral, humerous statements about computers and programming.

It first appeared in SIGPLAN Notices 17(9), September, 1982. It is reproduced here with permission of the copyright holder, Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
