ComputerWeekly.com is a website published by Reed Business Information. It is a website for IT professionals and provides users with IT news and analysis, whitepapers and case studies. ComputerWeekly.com also provides information via webinars, podcasts, blogs, desktop alerts and RSS feeds.

ComputerWeekly.com provides channels for different user groups including IT directors, IT developers & security professionals. The site also features Downtime which includes a daily Dilbert, sudoku and a crossword. Users can also log in to their account by selecting which emails they wish to receive.

Webinars

ComputerWeekly.com webinars are live web seminars which are free to view and can be viewed either live or on-demand, via a specific web link on ComputerWeekly.com.

The webinars are 45 minutes long and begin with an introduction from the chair followed by presentations from an analyst and a specific case study. Viewers email the panel throughout the webinar with their questions which are answered at the end of the webinar.

Users are required to register for each webinar and this is then viewed using an interface which allows users to watch the video of the webinar alongside supporting powerpoint presentation slides.

The interface also allows the user to enlarge and download slides, view speaker information and supporting case studies and when viewed on-demand, the user can also pause, skip and select specific sections from the webinar to view.

Podcasts

Podcasts are audio downloads provided in an MP3 format which are available on-demand. They are generated by the ComputerWeekly.com editorial team on various topics within the IT industry.
