Lecture 21

(Also called Lesson 21 or Lezione 21)

A feature film written and directed by Alessandro Baricco the author of Silk (which has also been adapted into a feature film starring Keira Knightly and Alfred Molina)

It stars John Hurt, Noah Taylor, Leonor Watling, Clive Russell, Matthew T. Reynolds, Daniel Tuite, Andy Gathergood, Rasmus Hardiker and Natalia Tena.

Lecture 21 is set in 1824, 1997 and 2007 and tells the tale of a Professor (Hurt) delivering a lecture about a musician (Taylor) coming to a remote village in the mountains before he dies to better understand Beethoven's 9th symphony.
