Slippin' and Slidin' is an R&B/rock song written by Little Richard, Edwin Bocage, Albert Collins, and James Smith. It was originally performed by Little Richard on his first album, Here's Little Richard.

Buddy Holly also covered it, and both versions were included on John Lennon's jukebox. Lennon particularly liked the song as he covered it himself.
