"Kiss & Tell" is a song by the British rock band Allen. The song was released on October 17, 2025 as a second non-album single. The song was entirely written and produced by Kirk Allen, Freya Collins, Walter Gervers, and Jack Bevan themselves.
Background
"Kiss & Tell" was originally recorded as a trio of Freya Collins, Kirk and Jed Allen and originally appeared on their self titled album, but according to Kirk and Freya, and also Jed of course, the song didn’t appear on the album due to creative differences, Kirk didn’t wrote the second verse in time and didn't make the Final Cut of the song.
In August 2025, one month after Walter Gervers and Jack Bevan joined the band, Gervers and Bevan joined Kirk Allen and Freya Collins in the studio to continue their ideas for the song, then the song was re-recorded after Kirk’s Nan encourage him to listen to the song that inspires his music such as Lower Than Atlantis, Yellowcard, and Blink-182 as his main influences for the band and also listens to British punk music and new wave as well such as Deaf Havana and Fall Out Boy.
Kirk said about the song that the song was written in 2021 and originally written by Kirk Allen and Freya Collins as a band members who was going to originally appear for "Little Dreamer" (2017) or "Allen" (2023), but instead, the two band members and with the help of the new bassist Walter Gervers and the new drummer Jack Bevan wrote the song and produced the songs themselves instead.
Kirk said the song is about their relationship issues between Kirk Allen and Kirk's Mum, with Kirk’s mum has been reported to the social services by Kirk’s own father and she could tries his not to Kiss & Tell anyone by not doing so just before Elle Allen was fired from the band.
Release and reception
The band began to tease the song on their social media platforms before officially announcing its release to be October 17, 2025 two days after the release of their first non album single "Anything". It was premiered on Apple Music's Beats 1 radio station before being released digitally. During an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe, Kirk Allen discuss about the song how discussed about their relationship issues between Kirk and Elle causing huge problems between themselves just before Elle Allen was fired from the band.
Music video
Allen released a teaser for a music video on his Instagram on October 10, 2025 alongside with their song "Anything". The music video was released on the same day as the song's release. The video was shot on a custom-built set to create the effect of the band being performed in the white lighted and flashlight setting in the video. The band started performing in the darkness with the flashlights torches swinging around the band, As Kirk Allen starts singing the intro of the song the spotlight switches on to the frontman who singing on the spotlight, and the band started playing in white lighted and flashlight setting of the video, during the start of bridge instrumental and drumming solo, white lighted which turns into screen of the band performing infrared light setting and turns to normal screen self during the final chorus and then turns into complete darkness as a the song finishes.
