Jüche and Socilaism?

[edit]

can we get translated version without changing the words I'm curious as to the translation here. Freedom and Independence don't strike me as Korea or good translations as similar as they might be Juche and independence are similar but different while Socilaism and freedom are umm yeah they both involve around a concept of civilian movements and end games. So I'm curious i feel it could improve the article. 209.171.85.232 (talk) 19:07, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The words are chaju (자유) and tongnip (독립), respectively. They are the ordinary Korean words for liberty (or freedom) and independence. The naming of this order predates Juche becoming a thing in propaganda, so there is no direct connection. The word chaju does however feature in Juche propaganda a lot in the sense of autonomous politics and man as an autonomous being (embodying Chajusong). – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 12:02, 31 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
