WebMethods Glue
webMethods Glue is an enterprise webServices platform from webMethods to provide web services/SOAP capabilities to existing java and c/c++ applications.[1]
The java based product enables developers to add enterprise web services integration to their legacy applications with little or no programming effort.[1] It is intended as an embeddable product (small footprint[2]) to quickly turn a non web service enabled application into one which exposes functionality as web services.[3]

Product History
Created by The Mind Electric, GLUE as it was then named was the company's flagship product.[5] In September 2003 GLUE featured in a Microsoft Press book titled "Microsoft .NET and J2EE Interoperability Toolkit."[6]. Acquired by webMethods as part of the merger with The Mind Electric[5]. The merger resulted in a rebranding of the product with the webMethods prefix to become "webMethods Glue".[7]
