Environmental Choice Program
Appearance
Environmental Choice Program Established in 1988 by Environment Canada [1] with over 300 categories of products to help consumers identify services/products which are less harmful to the environment.
The "Environmental Choice" Eco-Logo symbol of certification is green colored with three doves intertwined forming a maple leaf.
More than 1400 approved products as of May 2007, with 119 licensees and 29 guidelines under which companies may be licensed and their products certified.
