Environmental Choice Program is an Environment Canada program designed to help consumers choose greener products and services. Founding member of the Global EcoLabelling Network with over 300 categories of products. A company may apply to certify a product/service by submitting for a review to meet the established criteria, in addition to meeting or exceeding any applicable safety and performance standards. If accepted the company may then use the EcoLogoTM, a recognizable environmental certification marking in their marketing and promotional campaigns. [1]
