Mohammad "Mo" Qayoumi (b. 1952) is the president of California State University, East Bay. Dr. Qayoumi is the first Afghan-American to be the head of a major American university. Before assuming his post as president, he was the Vice President of Administration and Finance and Chief Financial Officer of California State University, Northridge.
